IS MY DONATION TAX DEDUCTIBLE?
Yes, OUTREACH is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Please consult with your tax attorney or accountant to determine how you will personally benefit from the donation.

MY CAR HASN'T RUN IN YEARS. CAN I STILL DONATE IT?
We can process the auto for sale as long as we will make money on the donation after paying for towing. Please note that the condition of the auto will affect the fair market value of your donation.

WILL YOU PICK UP VEHICLES IN ALL 50 STATES?
Yes, we can pick up most vehicles throughout the continental United States and Hawaii.

HOW IS THE VALUE OF MY CAR DETERMINED?
The IRS requires the donor to fix a market value to their donated vehicle. You can do this using an IRS publication that can be found on the IRS website. You may also find the Kelley Blue Book helpful. If your donation is worth more than $5,000, then you will be required by the IRS to have a professional appraiser place a market value on your donation which will provided to you free of charge by our auto broker.

HOW MUCH OF MY DONATION ACTUALLY GOES TO OUTREACH?
OUTREACH receives 70% of the net proceeds from the sale of the donated item and the auto broker receives 30% of the net proceeds.
