VTA has some changes for you!

As of July 10, VTA made some changes to several bus routes in their system. Thanks to input from Social Services Agency, Line 47 will provide better service to the L'Avenida office! Remember, you can forward any input about VTA transit services to OUTREACH and the information will be submitted in the next round of public comments for service changes. Send us your ideas!

Line 10 (Santa Clara Caltrain Station to Metro LRT Station via San Jose Airport)
An earlier trip will leave from the Metro LRT Station at 4:45 a.m. seven days a week to provide earlier service to the airport. Weekday and weekend evening service will be improved to operate every 15 minutes between 7:30 p.m. and 10 p.m. Major weekday and weekend schedule changes will be made to improve connections with Light Rail and Caltrain.
**** Line 47 (Mountain View Station to San Antonio Shopping Center via Shoreline Industrial Park) *****
Service will be extended to L’Avenida & Macon during the midday to provide better service to the Social Services office on L’Avenida. Minor schedule changes will be made to improve connections and better reflect actual running times.

Line 48 (Mountain View Station via Whisman and Ellis)
The routing will be changed to operate via Moffett Boulevard and Middlefield Road to Whisman Road. All trips will operate to Bernardo Avenue seven days a week. Minor weekday and weekend schedule changes will be made to reflect the new routing.

Line 350 (Almaden LRT Station to Shoreline Industrial Park)
This is a NEW Limited Stop line beginning at Almaden LRT Station and operating via Coleman Avenue, Camden Avenue, San Tomas Expressway, Hamilton Avenue, Westgate, Lawrence Expressway, Vallco Park, Hwys. 280 & 85 to the Whisman and Shoreline Industrial Parks. Four trips will operate northbound in the morning and southbound in the afternoon. Service will operate approximately every 40 minutes.

Line 26 (Eastridge to Sunnyvale/Lockheed Martin)
Line 32 (Santa Clara Caltrain Station to San Antonio Shopping Center)
Line 34 (Santa Clara Caltrain Station to San Antonio Shopping Center)
Line 40 (L’Avenida & Macon to San Antonio Shopping Center)
Line 43 (Lawrence Caltrain Station to Alviso)
Line 56 (Fair Oaks & El Camino to Milpitas)
Line 59 (Great America to East San Jose)
Line 74 (Eastridge to Baypointe LRT Station)
Line 81 (Vallco Fashion Park to East San Jose)
Line 122 (South San Jose to Lockheed Martin/Moffett Park)
Line 140 (Fremont BART Station to Sunnyvale Caltrain Station)
Line 304 (South San Jose to Mountain View Station)
Line 305 (South San Jose to Mountain View Station)

The following lines will see some reduction in service or be discontinued:
Line 11 (San Jose Caltrain Station to Gish & 1st)
Line 45 (Lockheed Martin to NASA/Ames)
Line 122 (South San Jose to Lockheed Martin/Moffett Park)
Line 328 (Almaden Expwy & Camden to Lockheed Martin/Moffett Park)
