Last month CSTs who work with CalWORKs customers went through the transportation training session to learn all about the many options available in our county. They are now a new transportation resource!
We developed a one page sheet that lists the kind of resources available to CalWORKs and non-CalWORKs clients. It is a handy sheet to keep available at your desk for times when transportation questions come up. Here is another chance to get involved in VTA planning. VTA is considering several alignment alternatives for a future light rail connection to the Civic Plaza Redevelopment Area (the area near SJSU bounded by Santa Clara Street, Delmas Avenue, San Carlos Street and 10th Street).
If you are interested in this area, there is a public meeting Wednesday June 14. VTA will provide information and seek community input about the alternatives.
