The Money Management/Representative Payee Program provides money management services (much like banking and budget planning) to persons who are unable to manage their own finances due to a physical or mental disability. This allows disabled persons to remain in their homes with dignity and security.
People whose health and independence are threatened by their inability to manage their own financial affairs get personal help managing their limited resources. OUTREACH counselors develop a personal budget and plan for each of nearly 800 people in the program, arrange for electronic deposits into personal accounts, manage the funds, electronically pay bills or issue checks, and deal with any problems.
If you are a senior or disabled adult and need assistance managing your finances so that you can remain independent and self-sufficient, OUTREACH may be able to help. Call OUTREACH at (408) 436-2865.
